A wise man once said, "Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something."
I'm not sure which category I fit into, but after many pleas by my beautiful girlfriend to start a blog and stop bombarding her with useless Hockey knowledge; I have finally caved.
About myself? I'm one of the biggest supporters of the Vancouver Canucks and Kelowna Rockets you'll probably ever meet. My family has been season ticket holders with the Kelowna Rockets since they first moved to Kelowna back in the 1995-1996 season. I grew up idolizing Jason Deleurme, Scott Hannan, and Scott Parker in the 90s. I've had the pleasure of watching Josh Gorges raise the Memorial Cup in 2004, along with Ryan Cuthbert (2003), Tyler Spurgeon (2005), and Colin Long (2009) raising the (now) Ed Chynoweth Cup. Looking back at all of the players' names on those Championship teams, and how well they are doing at the Professional level, really makes you appreciate what we have here in Kelowna.
I'm not sure if this blog will ever amount to anything, but in the mean time I will continue sharing my thoughts with whomever is willing to read.
